CHICAGO — State Senator Willie Preston announced he will be hosting a legislative town hall on Saturday, Feb. 7.

“I am excited to hear from community members and see what issues they care about the most,” said Preston (D-Chicago). “This is an opportunity for residents in the Sweet 16^th District to let me know what they would like me to focus on this year and give feedback on my legislative plan.”

The legislative town hall will be held at LEARN Hunter Perkins Elementary School, located at 1700 W. 83^rd St. in Chicago, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 7. The event is open to the public and registration is not required.

Preston will discuss his legislative agenda for this year’s session, as well as provide information on SNAP benefits and property tax relief.
